The Bluebird Lounge

I meet some very cool people during my travels. I find it strange how much I can enjoy getting to know total strangers. Two folks I meet this past weekend were Pam and Richard. We were kindred spirits and they have one fine bus I aptly named the Bluebird Lounge. I spent a good bit of time in the Bluebird lounge sharing drinks and swapping stories.

Pam and Richard love to go to music festivals in their 1984 Bluebird Wanderlodge. She is a beauty and all weekend long I had a song going through my head. I will sing it to you and you can just enjoy the pictures. No words I might say would do this fine vehicle justice.
Bluebird singing in the dead of night...

Take these broken wings and learn to fly...

All your life you were only waiting for this moment to arise.

Bluebird singing in the dead of night....

Take these sunken eyes and learn to see...

All your life you were only waiting for this moment to be free

Bluebird fly, Bluebird fly....

Into the light of a dark black night.

Cool rig, and even cooler people. Sometimes the best of friends are first met while traveling.
